Terms of Use
In order to use this service you must adhere to the following terms;
1 - You are the legal owner of the cat / kitten being registered.
2 - You must not be a rescue, breeder or other establishment involving breeding or adopting animals. This service has been solely created to assist the public in the direct rehoming of their cat / kitten. This service is open to residents primarily within the Fife, Tayside, Perth, Edinburgh & Lothian areas.
3 - You agree to routine checks of authenticity being made for listings added to the database. Any listings found to be false, spam, misleading, defamatory or otherwise damaging to this site and its use will be removed without notice.
4 - If your listing has been removed for reasons stated at 3, and you would like clarification then you can speak to staff by contacting us.
5 - If stating your cat or kitten is vaccinated you must have records to show this for potential new owners or at the very least be able to provide veterinary details where this information can be checked. If you cannot provide this then please choose the Not Vaccinated option.
6 - Any cat or kitten listed with a medical condition or behavioural issue should have full details of the condition concerned disclosed on the original listing. Be prepared that new owners may wish further information from your vet of any ongoing medical conditions.
7 - We are not a service for the sale of cats or kittens. Please do not add listings stating your cat or kitten is for sale. We do not condone the sale of live animals and any such listings will be removed without discussion. Equally should we find that you are using our service under false pretences then we will remove all current listings and future listings will not be allowed.
8 - You agree to respect the spirit of this service and its objectives and agree at all times to seek to improve the welfare and care standards for your cat or kitten through the rehoming of said cat or kitten with the help of this service.
9 - You accept your listing will be shown for a period of 12 weeks. After which your listing will be deleted unless you contact us requesting an extention.
10 - Once your cat or kitten has been rehomed you should contact us so that we can remove the listing from the online database.
11 - Should you discover in using this service that you are being approached to sell or feel you are being coerced into 'buying' any cat or kitten listed please notify site owners immediately. This is against the terms of use of this service and will not be tolerated on any level.
We have set up this service to help you, the public, due to very tight restrictions on space at Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue. We understand that you relunctantly turn to free ad websites as a last resort and so please make use (not abuse) of this cat rehoming service.
Abuse of this service may result in its termination so please, use it wisely and thoughtfully.
